Abstract: Soil water solution was collected weekly using porous cup lysimeters installed on the Coweeta LTER terrestrial gradient plots. Lysimeters were installed at shallow locations (intersection of A and B soil horizons) or deep locations (intersection of B and C horizons). Collected soil solutions were refrigerated each week and composited and analyzed monthly.
Location(s), Described: See Project Summary Sheet 1048 and Terrestrial Gradient Sites: Characteristics (photographs) for detailed information about plot locations and physical descriptions, respectively.
