| Methods/Experimental Design: | Each of the 5 gradient plots were instrumented with 10.92 x .92 m2 collectors. Leaf samples were air dried before weighing. Litter was sorted into two categories: rhododendron leaves and all other leaves. Branches, flower parts and fern leaves were not included in litterfall. |
