Quick Jump to Coweeta Basin 7.5 Minute DEMs Thirty maps, representing over 1800 square miles surrounding the Coweeta Basin, are part of the Coweeta Basin 7.5 Minute DEM Collection. What is a DEM? A digital elevation model (DEM) consists of a raster grid of regularly spaced elevation values that have been primarily derived from USGS topographic map series. 7.5-Minute DEMs correspond to the USGS 1:24,000- and 1:25,000-scale topographic quadrangle maps, and are available for the entire Coweeta regional study area.
